Parkmatic’s Rack & Rail System uses vertical lifts and robotic carts to move vehicles into designated spaces across multiple levels. Its computerized controls coordinate the movement of multiple vehicles at the same time, allowing the system to store and retrieve cars efficiently. Safety devices include entrance and interior guide lights, a guide mirror, car positioning sensors at the entrance level, hoist wire and shearing sensors, lift and cart over-run prevention, emergency stop, and a safety management checking system.
